One of the 10 finalists projects selected in the "Innovando el Amparinismo" category (innovation in toys) of the first edition of the Premio Amparo Serrano, presented by the DEMAC association and the ESRU foundation. The objective was to develop a concept that integrated distinctive elements of the Distroller brand, founded by Amparo Serrano, in whose honor this call was made.

Chanik is a type of Chaneque that is part of the Distroller World. Chaneques are mythical creatures from Mexican culture known for their playful personality and mischief towards those they encounter. Like her relatives, Chanik's main mission is to protect and preserve her home, nature, and its diverse ecosystems; however, she only plays pranks on people who do not care for the planet. Additionally, she has the power to fulfill the wishes of those who join her cause.

Chanik was created with the intention of connecting with children through Mexican culture and fantasy, while also raising awareness about the importance of caring for our planet in a fun way.
